Lilium Chair
Rustic and elegant. Sturdy and lightweight. Curious and inviting. Like the rest of the series, the Lilium chair is a modern and informal piece of furniture that is suitable for most people and settings. The chair is slightly wider than a traditional dining chair, but outdoor furniture has to have to more weight and power to withstand varying weather conditions. The X-shaped frame leaves open spaces that allow the backrest and seat to give gently when you sit down.
Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy wood type. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant and it is therefore a good choice for outdoor furniture.
As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils.
